Over the years, our founder Du Yufeng has been involved in the closure of illegal dog slaughterhouses, dog meat stalls and butcher's shops.
These photos show a raid on a butcher's shop where Du and her volunteers seized dogs - alive and dead - and removed the word 'dog' from the shop signage. Live dogs are given a second chance but if it is too late to save dogs already killed and/or butchered, then Du will bring the carcasses back and give them a Buddhist burial - giving the the respect in death that they didn't receive in life.
